Thank you for visiting the website for Northwoods Counseling Center, the office of Robert M. Peden. My goal as a therapist is not to provide answers, but to help families, couples, and individuals find solutions and a healthy direction for their lives. We work together to discover those choices that will best work to reach set goals. We then investigate and identify all resources available to assist in that process.
The combination of fifteen years of experience as a therapist in private practice, my work providing therapy for patients at Laurel Ridge Psychiatric Hospital and over twenty-six years serving in the military provide a unique approach to counseling and problem solving. I encourage clients to pray before sessions begin and believe this act is key to uncovering solutions that will work in their lives.
